Platitudes:
The Score Takes Care of Itself
The Chase is more Important than the Capture - The Process over the Prize
Simplify Complexity
General Framework
Determine not only what you want to do but what is meaningful to you
Figure out what it takes to be successful at what you deemed meaningful to you: time, effort, what you have to give up. The price of anything is how much life you are willing to give up for it
Decide if the trade offs are worth it and you can commit to it completely
Commit 100% to it. When someone is tentatively committed to what they are trying to accomplish, nothing good happens, so commit 100%
Success is a Byproduct, not the goal. The score takes care of itself, don't worry about or even think about the score. If you perform great on the steps needed to score, that will lead to the score as a result. Break down the process to succeed into smaller manageable tasks. Then focus on the one you are doing at that time. Eventually success will be the byproduct. Do what you need to do each day, then move on to the next
Apply this basic process to anything in life. Combine it with 5 seconds of Insane Courage, don’t think about all the consequences, just think about and focus on making the decision
